Organise consent according to the purpose of each service

Alamarte Cookie Consent Pro uses consent categories to separate services that are necessary for the operation of the site from those that require a decision from the visitor. This classification makes it possible to control which content may be activated in each case.

Each service should be associated with the appropriate category.

Before blocking content, a script or an external service, identify its purpose. The selected category determines which consent must exist before that content can be loaded.

Necessary

This category is intended for functions that are essential for the basic operation of the site.

It should not be used for optional services that require prior consent from the visitor.

Analytics

This category can be used for services intended to measure, analyse or understand how the site is used.

Scripts or services associated with this category can remain blocked while the visitor has not authorised the corresponding consent.

Marketing

This category is intended for content and services related to advertising, commercial tracking or external platforms used for marketing purposes.

It can also be used for external content when its purpose corresponds to this category.

Preferences

This category can be used for optional functions that remember preferences or allow certain behaviours of the site to be personalised.

Its use depends on the services and functionality installed on each site.

When the visitor accepts a category

Content associated with an optional category can be activated when the visitor has given the corresponding consent.

This allows different types of content to be managed independently.
